At the Hair & Beauty Charity, all funds raised are used to help those in our industry who through no fault of their own, are facing financial difficulties.
An industry professional that we had the pleasure of helping was a lady who got in contact with us in 2019 when she was diagnosed with Bowel Cancer. She was 50 at the time and had been a hairdresser for 35 years but having undergone 3 major surgeries and months of Chemotherapy, had to finally give up the job that she loved so much due to ill health, and was then struggling to manage financially. Unfortunately, the cancer spread and she sadly passed away in August 2023. We were able to support her financially from 2019 until this time and during these years she wrote to say,
“Your financial help has been an absolute God send and I am very grateful for it. It has enabled me to continue to live my life with less financial concerns. I am sincerely grateful for your support and have left money in my will to your Charity as a thank you for your support.”
This individual kindly added the Hair & Beauty Charity as a beneficiary in her will and her generous donation will be used to help those that need it the most and we are hugely grateful to her and her family.
